Naughty Jack

We found the garden in a mess one morning and suspected that Jack was the culprit in messing up with a few plants.


Luckily, it has not happened since then.

Jack Eating Grass

I saw Jack trying to chew some grass through the fence around the garden area so I was curious whether he was serious about eating the grass.

I pulled out a bunch of grass and placed them in his food bowl.

True enough, he started to pick up a few stands and chewed on them.

I was wondering if he has a tummy upset....?

I was told that dogs sometimes eat grass to ease their tummy upset or to stimulate them to vomit out the indigestible stuff....?

Jack did not vomit that day though.....

But he recently had an operation to remove a lump of grass+sand+hair that gave him so much problem that he lost his appetite and he could not even sit or lie down....if you have read my earlier posting.

So is eating grass good or bad for dogs....?

Special Path for Jack

You may have noticed that I have a path in the garden, from previous photos, for Jack to pee so that he does not do it at the gate or the car porch.

He has 2 favourite spots to pee along this path.

Here is a photo of him caught red-handed....ha..ha....

Jack's New Corner

Remember that Jack was caught in a wire mesh next to the palm tree...?

Well, I removed the wire mesh and placed 2 patches of articficial grass so that he can goes there to do what he wants......

So when I decided to wash the car porch one morning..... Jack went to that corner to rest as he does not like the water.....ha...ha....

Grooming for Jack

I used the Tea Tree Oil, antiseptic ointment, to apply on his skin growth on Jack's forhead as the flies like to suck on it and sometimes there is a blood clot.....sigh

The next bottle solution is used to clean Jack's ears fortnightly, these days.

The Tear Stain Remover and Eye Bright Lotion are applied every morning after his morning walk.

The Fresh Breathe and Dental Paste is applied to his front teeth especially his canine teeth as his molars are well maintained through chewing on bones and those special dental treats, on alternate days as Jack does not quite like it but getting used to it lately.

Well, this is what Jack gets for his grooming in addition to having a nice bath once a month and having his hair brushed weekly with the Furmigator ( read my earlier email ).

Jack and Doormat

This is our good boy, Jack, lying next to the doormat.

Then, we started to find the doormat in his resting area behind his dog house....?

The doormat was ruffled and misplaced......

The doormat was overturned too.......?

Jack likes to play with our doormat...... when we are not around.......! I caught him scratching the mat and even rolling over it through the window but did not have sufficient time to get my digital camera to take a photo of him in action.....

Jack Got Trapped Again

As usual after dinner, we wanted to give Jack a slice of the apple one night but we could not find him.....

Finally, we found him in a corner of the porch that we did not look at....

We suspected that he must be chasing something and got himself into such a spot...!

But he did not bark for help.

Luckily, it was not in the afternoon as it could be quite hot if he was stuck there the whole afternoon.

He repeated it tonight but we saw him pushed his way into the wire mesh as he was sniffing out something in the garden.

He was really determined to catch that thing... whatever it was...?

It turned out to be a small mice hiding in our garden......!

Jack Got Trapped

We came home one afternoon and before we opened the gate, we saw Jack's head popping up on the wall....!


We have fenced up that portion of the garden and did not expect to see Jack's head.

We were wondering how Jack got himself into such a situation....???

Jack Playing With Towel

Jack was running out into the heavy rain and barking at the thunder.

Jason decide to wipe him dry but Jack like to play with his bath towel instead.

Flower Pots Overturned

I came home and found these pots overturned in the garden...!

Jack, what have you been up to...?

Almost broke down the fence too!

When my wife dragged him to see the mess and scolded him, Jack was like shivering a bit...... guilty look..!


I was trying to defend Jack and said that maybe he was chasing the birds away from the garden...ha..ha....

These birds have been a bit of a nuisance as they were making a nest inside the roof of our car porch and have been dirting the car porch with the debris that they brought back for the nest.



Jack was getting used to them and the noise that they made and I have to hang a CD to try to scare them away; light reflected by the CD.... seems to work, I think!

Another Birthday Treat!

Jack does not like to be fed by hand so when you give him some treats, he likes to take it away from you and eat by himself.
