Ruby's BackStroke

Hi,

I have made an earlier posting on Ruby sleeping on her back in her crate but what I saw recently, was even interesting or unbelievable.

Here are the photos of Ruby's sleeping on her back in her crates :

In both photos, it looks like she was leaning against the wall or the crate for balance....

But I caught her having her siesta or afternoon nap in the car porch outside the crate. I observed for a few minutes and then went to take my digital camera to take a shot of her, just to make sure that she was actually napping.

What a balancing act...and I assured you that she was napping....!!!

We visited my niece to see her pet dog, named Toto. He is a Silky Terrier mixed breed and about 11 months old.
Also, gave him a new dog house so hope he likes it.

Brushing Ruby the Corgi Teeth - Dental Care to Maintain Plague Control

I made this video to share with dog owners who may be interested in how to brush their dog teeth.

Ruby the Corgi enjoys it and co-operative during the whole process but Jack does not like it so I do not brush Jack teeth.

I take it as part of the grooming regime for Ruby.

Jack the Beagle Playing Fetch

Hi,

This is a short video clip of Jack playing Fetch with Mum. Jack is no longer as energetic as before and seldom play Fetch with us these days.

I managed to catch him on my mobile video very recently. After 2 runs, he has enough and stopped playing. Jack used to be very aggressive and would pick up the cloth bone and rushed at you. He would not let go and we would have a mini tug-of-war.

As the video format on the mobile is not compatible to be uploaded to YouTube, I have to do some conversion and in the process, the speed of the video is faster so you will see Jack running a bit funny......ha...ha...ha...

Anyway, enjoy the video clip.

We celebrated Ruby's belated 5 years old birthday last Sunday...

Here are a few photos for viewing while I put up a slideshow of all the photos taken that afternoon.

We bought her a new crate as her current one is breaking dwn and I have to tape it with up with some heavy duty tape.

Video on Cleaning Ruby's Ears, My Corgi

As part of our grooming regime for Ruby, my Corgi, we clean her ears weekly eventhough she does not have any ear infection like Jack, my Beagle.

Ruby is also used to the cleaning of her ears and she is very co-operative during the whole process too, just like Jack.

Someone must have enjoyed the video I posted on You Tube as it was give 5 stars rating...!

What a Hot Day!

Hi,

Though we are in sunny Singapore and there is only one season throughout the year, today was extremely hot.

I was brushing the dogs fur this late afternoon and I was sweating all over, with sweat dripping from my face which is quite unusual....seriously!

I took photos of the 2 dogs hiding from the sun and seeking shelter under the palm tree in the garden.

Hope you have better weather at your home if you are living outside Spore.

Looking forward to a cooler weekend....?

Video on Cleaning Jack's Ears, My Beagle

Jack, my Beagle, has long and drooping ears so he is prone to ear infections as the ears are not well ventilated or aired.

He has been treated by the vet and we have been taught to clean his ears with some solution from the clinic. We used to do it almost daily but now that his ear infection is under control, it is done weekly only.

As you can see from the video, Jack is so used to it and very co-operative during the whole process.

Ruby's Birthday

Hi,

We just realised that we missed Ruby's, my Corgi, birhtday which falls on 13 March..!!!

She turned 5 years old 2 months ago.

We have decided to celebrate it this coming weekend together with Mother's day instead.

Here is a video of Jean givng Ruby a bathe after Jack's.

Ruby was not so co-operative and ran away. That why we have to leash them else we would be chasing them around the garden.

First of all, my other website at http://www.davidpoh.com/ is up after having gone down since Wed night.

Here is a video of Jean bathing Jack, it is close to 10 minutes but I hope you will enjoy viewing it; from shampooing to cleaning his ears dry.

I must say that Jack is more co-operative compared to Ruby my Corgi, I will be posting her video soon so watch out for it.
