Railing At Main Door

My family miss me so much and want to see me and also let me see them during the day so they came up with this idea of leaving the main door open and have a railing instead.

Why do they not let me in...???

I am not an indoor dog and apparently, I do have many loose hairs and I drool quite a bit.... I think!

However, I am let in once a week... just before the house is being cleaned and mopped.....

I heard that they found quite a bit of my loose hairs inside the house... must be blown in on a windy day..... woof .... woof....

 

After some time, I managed to figure out on how to open the railing ... woof .... woof ....



Looking For Attention

The windows are always opened so I like to jump up and have a look at what is going on inside the house especially when I hear voices from the family.

They are worry that I may hurt my back though.....

 

 

Thanks God.. my back msucles are still strong... woof ... woof ....

Sometimes, I give a bark or two to get their attention ... woof ... woof ...

 





Playful Beagle

Sometimes I get a good scratch on my body by rubbing myself against the door mat....

Peeping Through The Window

Sometimes, I hear the voices of the family and I am curious as to what is happening inside the house .... or I want to have a treat or my meal is late or time for my walk..., I will go to the window and bark.. woof ... woof .....

In short, I want some attention ... woof..woof...!!!

Don't I look cute and adorable... ???

Variety In My Meals

I get dry food all the time as the ingredients are supposed to be good for me...eg glucosomine and omega too.. woof... woof ...

My food bowl was held up for me so that I need not bend down so much to eat my food with some yogurt spread over it..... yummy... yummy....!

And I got some canned food mixed with my dry food too.... nice to have some variety in my meals....woof... woof.....

My Walk

I got to go for my walk twice a day, in the morning and evening...... unless it is raining or...???

That's ME on the leash.....

 Must leave my mark all over the park... woof ... woof....

 

And to pooh too, what goes in ..also must come out a bit ... woof... woof .....

Happy 14th Birthday, Jack !

We wish Jack a very Happy 14th Birthday and another exciting and healthy year ahead.....!

And we got a special treat for Jack too, a bag of lamb sausages....!

Open House to Jack

Just before our part-time housekeeper came to vacumn and mop the floor, we open the house to Jack..... ha..ha....

Jack, immediately,went to the dry kitchen where we keep his food and treats, smart dog!

Naughty Jack

We have been using this auto-feeder to give Jack his morning and evening food for the past few years and all of a sudden, Jack has decided to rip up the feeder recently.......

Very naughty, and he ate 3 meals at one go too....!

I have to re-train him to respect the feeder and put the stronger tape on the feeder.

Glad to report that he is back to his normal self again, good dog... Jack!

Jack Sneaking Into House

Jack was caught sneaking into our house by crawling underneath the camel chair that we used to hold the door to prevent him from coming in.

We managed to get it on video with our iPhones.





He did it again this evening when I was watching TV .... I just let him in and then slowly guide him out for his evening walk.

BTW, we have started to give Jack baby carrots as treats to help him maintain his weight or maybe even reduce a bit of his weight, for health reasons....of course!
But he still gets his usual dog treats but lesser now.

Clipping Jack's Nails

Jack has always been reluctant to let me clip his nails as I did not do a good job when he was younger and it bled a bit.

But we were encouraged to try again after watching the Dog Whisperer TV programmes by trying to get Jack into a Calm and Submissive state of mind.

Well, we managed to cut a few nails with Jason helping to hold Jack and I clipping the nails.

I would not say that Jack was totally calm and submissive though but we got the job done with lesser struggle from Jack.

Training Jack To STAY

After watching so many of the Dog Whisperer TV programmes, we decided to try to train Jack to stay by the door and not come into the house.

It took a lot of time and patience that afternoon before we got some results but it did not last long though as Jack forgot about it the following day...ha....ha...

We have not be reinforcing the training so our fault, I suppose.
