Hi,
When we woke up this morning, we found Jack's left ear injured and dried blood on it. Some blood was splattered on his nose too.
We were alarmed and after lookiing around the garden, I found some spots of dried blood near the tap and the gate.
No evidence to support exactly what happened but we all concluded tht the culprit is likely to be Ruby as she has bitten Jack's right ear when she first came.
Until today, we are no sure if it was a fight or just a bit rough play. The first time, Jack was crying out loud and got our attention. It bled badly but I managed to stop it and took him to the vet.
We cleaned his ear a bit and put on some medication. We decided to cage Ruby as some form of punishment and also tied up Jack as we did not want him to go to his favourite spot in the garden until his wound is properly dried up and healed.
Luckily, nothing serious.......
